11/16/2014 My first attempt at this ride.

1. Sandia Creek is steep roller coaster. Very difficult
2. Average speed will be very low - mine was 9 mph, because of constant slow hill efforts.
3. The whole ride will take 9 hours because of avg speed. Do it on a long summer day
4. Los Gatos is probably the most difficult climb in the county!
5. Los Gatos is 1 mile, 700 ft el gain, average 17%, with up to 23.2% sections.
6. Los Gatos requires low gears and good endurance. 15% sections are a relief!
7. Los Gatos is very often very windy. Avoid deep rim wheels that blow around in the wind!
8. Los Gatos broke me. I only made it .4 mile, and had to stop. 3 mph is the limit of my balance.
